Health
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development seeks to focus on improved health and wellbeing of 1000 needy and vulnerable children, youth, women, minority community and persons with disability the 10 targeted counties through: improving knowledge on HIV/AIDS prevention and management; increasing knowledge on the sexual gender-based violence; increasing knowledge on mental health and wellness and reduction of unintended pregnancy through training on modern forms of contraception. The intention is to involve women’s education and empowerment within the society, improvement of healthcare systems and infrastructure and encouragement of community based culturally acceptable responses towards the key target objectives.
Economic Empowerment Program
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development seeks to bridge the gap towards economic empowerment among 1000 children, youth, women, minority community and persons with disability in the 10 targeted counties through: increased knowledge on business development skills; increase market linkage and access; promoting value chain mapping and approach and promote access to affordable credit for the vulnerable women and girls-skill development, business training.
Education Program
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development seeks to promote quality and inclusive education among vulnerable children, youth, women, minority community and persons with disability in the 10 targeted counties through: promoting access to quality and inclusive education through scholastic support; promoting education retention and 100 percent transition rate to the needy and vulnerable women.
Disaster Preparedness
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development seeks to engage vulnerable children, youth, women, PWDs and Minority population in the climate change mitigation conversation in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kiambu, Machakos, Turkana, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Kilifi counties through training on tree growing, establishment of tree nurseries, adoption of tree value chain development , smart agriculture, value chain development as a viable employment creation avenue, food security and value addition.
Leadership and Governance
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development seeks to promote the participation of children, youth, women, PWDs and Minority population in leadership positions in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kiambu, Machakos, Turkana, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Kilifi counties through training on public participation, county planning and budgeting process social audit and accountability. It strives to promote responsive and accountable leadership at every level in the community.
Peace and Security
The Centre for Resource Mobilization and Community Development works across ten Kenyan counties, engaging vulnerable groups in peace-building initiatives. Through Prevention of Electoral Violence, it promotes peaceful elections via civic education and community involvement. The Prevention of Violent Extremism project counters radicalization by addressing root causes and enhancing community resilience. The Interfaith & Religious Freedom initiative fosters tolerance through interfaith dialogue, protecting minority rights, and promoting diversity acceptance in communities.
